Apparently, I haven’t posted in a bit. Truth be told, a fantastic internship opportunity has come my way and, chances are, my new postings will be infrequent at best. But, not to worry. I won’t be jumping ship any time soon

Etsy has provided yet another means to acquire wedding day accessories. Little White Dresser specializes in wedding day hair accessories, dress accessories, and jewelry for the vintage-loving bride. Among my favorite lacy pieces in the shop is their silvery belt and this lovely blush pink hair flower. Several of the necklaces made me smile as well, and the affordability will make the budget-savvy bride grin from ear to ear.
In years’ past, bouquets that were made of anything but authentic blooms were considered tacky and tasteless. But, with a bit of innovation and creativity, paper bouquets have become a welcome sight at weddings. In fact, paper details of all sorts, such as napkin rings and hanging poms, are showing up at receptions with styles ranging from homespun to whimsical elegance. This economical option is best suited for the more crafty among us (or at least those of us with crafty friends) who want to make the seeming ordinary material of tissue paper and turn it into something spectacular.

I have found yet another source of wedding-worthy headpieces on Etsy. Pegasus Maiden by Aerisk specializes in feather fascinators and steampunk hair accessories. Although their specialties are gorgeous, I must confess that I really fell in love with their large rose and butterfly pieces. Their classic birdcage veil is nothing to sneeze at either. What makes these quality pieces even more attractive-and accessible-is their ridiculously low price, thus proving once again that elegance van be had at all budgets.
Brides.com’s shop site has launched!
ShopatBrides.com hosts hundreds of items including invitations and announcements, favors, wedding party gifts and other wedding day needs.
In all honesty, many of the items look familiar to me. However, there are some treasures such as these black Baroque mini frames, which could serve as unique place card holders or these fabulous spring-themed invitations.
