Get Married is a multimedia experience dedicated to showing brides how to feature their personal style in their wedding. Their influence can be felt online at Get Married.com, on their television show that airs every Saturday at 9:30 AM on WETV, or in the Get Married Magazine. I just flipped through the online edition of their Summer 2010 issue-and, I am thoroughly impressed! The cover photo showcases the results of their design challenge for event designer Jon Buick from Xquisite Events, a decor and floral design company based in Boca Raton, FL . To see how he came up with this and for a plethora of fashion, decor, and gift ideas, please check it out.
Bonus: if you sign up for the site (it’s free!) you’ll receive a complimentary copy of the magazine.

Yes, mail order flowers have gotten a bad rep. But, if you’re in a bind and local florists are few or unavailable, then perhaps you should consider FiftyFlowers.com. They have bulk packages of wedding flowers that range from traditional rose or hydrangea arrangements for bouquets and decoration to more eclectic mixes of seasonal buds. If you’re looking for a single type of flower in bulk, they also carry this option for a wide range of flowers such as peonies, gerber daisies, dahlias, orchids, and almost any other flower you can call to mind. Their website has each bloom categorized by flower type, season, and/or color, so finding the perfect blooms for your nuptials should be a non-issue.
The company was recently featured on an episode of the Lifetime series Get Married, hosted by planner extraordinaire Colin Cowie and former Bachelorette Deanna Pappas.

I’m into all things retro, and this episode is for those who want the chic touch of yesteryear adding to their big day. Naturally, my favorite part is the fashion tips they give for achieving a retro elegance look. Watch the video below to see what I mean.
