Today kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month! This disease has claimed the lives of countless women and must be stopped. One way you can do your part is by contacting Brides Against Breast Cancer.
Brides Against Breast Cancer is a non-profit organization (in association with the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation) dedicated to finding a cure for and bringing joy to those affected by breast cancer. They hold events such as their Bridal Gown Sale, where all proceeds from the purchases are donated to breast cancer research (note: if you’ve already taken your trip down the aisle, you may donate your dress.) They also provide the materials to host a Pink Envelope Project bridal shower or reception, in which you and your guests put donations into (you guessed it) a pink envelope and send it to the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation. Such an option is perfect for you conscious brides who would like to make a donation in lieu of giving favors to your guests.
