Recently I purchased a piece from this Etsy seller and, I must say, their pieces would make the perfect bridesmaid’s gift. With delicate necklaces, earring, and rings featuring non-traditional stones, JewelParadise’s well-made, affordable accessories would make any woman smile. I’m especially impressed with the more whimsical necklaces featuring camera and calla lily charms. Check them out!

Now that the temperatures are dipping, I would imagine that many brides would want warmth and coverage, which strapless dresses simply cannot offer. Thankfully, with a return to retro modesty and a current obsession with Bella Swan, sleeves are returning to bridal wear in a big way. Below: a slideshow of some favorites for inspiration. What do you think?

So, one of my good friends just got engaged and she has put me in charge of her paper materials.

She and her fiancé have a lovely hobby of raising pet fish and a love for all things nautical. She specifically requested that I use the angelfish as a motif for their announcements because they are monogamus (fun fact!).

Take a look at the result below!

I just sent her the proof and she couldn’t be more pleased!

I may just put this up for sale in my Zazzle store. What do you think?

Emici Bridal prides itself on offering “Heirloom Quality Bridal Accessories,” and it shows. The new online boutique carries accessories for the bride, flower girl, and ring bearer fashioned out of high-quality fabrics and exceptional craftsmanship. Oh, and each piece is gorgeous as well! I myself have taken a special interest to Emici Bridal’s brooches, which can be made into a hair piece, and their bridal bouquets, which offer a long-lasting (and stunning) alternative to fresh blooms.

These pieces are on the higher end of the price spectrum, but in my eyes they are a worthwhile splurge.

Winter White

Apparently, I haven’t posted in a bit. Truth be told, a fantastic internship opportunity has come my way and, chances are, my new postings will be infrequent at best. But, not to worry. I won’t be jumping ship any time soon 🙂

In the meantime, take a look at this Anthropologie-inspired wedding on Green Wedding Shoes. Aside from the fact that Anthropologie is one of my absolute favorite stores, I’m so glad that this wedding captures simplicity, intimacy and craftiness at its best.

Etsy has provided yet another means to acquire wedding day accessories. Little White Dresser specializes in wedding day hair accessories, dress accessories, and jewelry for the vintage-loving bride. Among my favorite lacy pieces in the shop is their silvery belt and this lovely blush pink hair flower. Several of the necklaces made me smile as well, and the affordability will make the budget-savvy bride grin from ear to ear.
